Alvenius won the contract for a coated pipe system to Norra Länken, Stockholm, Sweden. A Total of 20 km of pipes and fittings.

New project in Russia includes supply of 6 km of 80 bar pipes, mainly in diameter 10”, to supply water to the snowguns in Sochi, venue for the Olympics in 2014. The total length of Alvenius pipes in Sochi is now 30 km.

Alvenius won the contract for the prestigious tunnel project Crossrail C300 in London, UK. A total of 72 km of pipes and fittings.

Quality

The objective of Alvenius is to supply products and services of such quality that they will fully conform to the demands and expectations of our customers and of the authorities.

All employees shall be given scope for continual development in order to acquire appropriate competence, consciousness and sense of responsibility for their tasks, with the aim of achieving the targets set up by Alvenius.

Regular X-ray control takes place and all pipes undergo visual inspection as well as hydrostatic test at 1.5 times their working pressure. The Quality Management System is certified according to ISO 9001 by Lloyds Register.
